Every year, the Hachette group invites a large number of booksellers to come and discover future releases and new titles in its showroom.
Since the health crisis, it has been impossible to organize this event.
Kinoki therefore created the virtual showroom: books were classified and organized on shelves and display racks, all clickable zones and hotspots were defined, then we produced the panoramic photos and 360° views in very high resolution (16K).
Next, a back office was set up, so that Hachette could qualify the book cards, thumbnails and associated content (pdf, videos, slideshows).
Booksellers were provided with secure, personal access, since the books in question were yet to be published, and the utmost confidentiality was essential.
